What time is check-in and checkout?
Check-in from 3 pm — suites check in seated at the 23rd-floor Club Lounge. Checkout is 11 am; direct suite bookings carry a guaranteed 2 pm late checkout.
Can I arrive early or leave late?
Tell us your flight times — we sequence rooms around real arrivals. When the room isn't ready, the lounge, spa and pool are yours while you wait.
Is parking available?
Secure 24/7 valet parking, AUD 55 overnight for guests — EV fast charging on both visitor levels.
Are children and pets welcome?
Both. The Royal Academy runs kids' programs daily (ages 3–17), and dogs under 12 kg get the full pet program — gaming areas remain strictly 18+.
How do I get a suite upgrade?
Members receive preferential upgrade rates at check-in; Gold and Onyx tiers include upgrade privileges. Ask at booking — direct bookings get priority.
What ID do I need for the casino?
Photo ID — driver's licence or passport — for floor registration. Entry is restricted to guests 18 and over under SA law.
I've never played — where do I start?
The masterclass runs ninety-minute sessions on a closed table with a senior dealer — or ask the floor desk for a low-minimum learner's table during quiet hours.
How do I set spend or time limits?
At the loyalty desk, any card kiosk, or via your host — limits activate immediately and the house enforces them with you. Time-outs and self-exclusion are always available.
How do I get into the Pearl Room?
Salon bookings run through the loyalty desk or your suite host — you set the game, limits and party size. Members hold priority.
Is there a dress code?
Smart casual; after 9 pm no beachwear or work boots. The Pearl Room leans cocktail — think a good bar, not a club.
How hard is the chef's table to book?
Two to three weeks for weekends — eight seats, one 6:30 seating. Mid-week occasionally lands same-week through the concierge.
Can menus handle allergies?
Fully — note restrictions at booking and the degustation adapts entirely: vegetarian, gluten-free and allergy protocols included.
What's open late?
The supper club serves until 2 am (no booking for hotel guests), and the Pearl Room's lounge kitchen runs to 4 am for salon parties.
Is high tea worth it?
The desk thinks so — two daily seatings, a twelve-leaf tea list and a pastry tier that changes monthly. From AUD 75; book a week ahead for weekends.
What's the largest event you can host?
